I was very fortunate to see mike play this in a drum clinic in chch New zealand. He played the whole track and his skill set is rediculous the one handed rolls around the drum kit was mesmerising the speed and different time signatures and how he made it look effortless was something i have never forgotten. I went away with so much inspiration and desire to be a better drummer he was so brilliant at breaking the parts to his drumming and his technique and approach to drumming he was amazing..i reinvented the way i played and practiced for hours on my technique and that was thanks to Mike unbelievable awesome guy and one hell of a drummer.

Mangini plays drums like Vai plays guitar, very skilled, lively, and animated. It was a perfect match and fit.
